Mark E. Alter

Mark graduated from York University in Toronto in 1973. He received his law degree from the University of Windsor and has been in the private practice of law since 1978. In addition to assisting his clients, Mr. Alter has also served as a Deputy Judge of the Ontario Small Claims Court. Mr. Alter enjoys a wide variety of interests including having worked extensively in the area of personal injury litigation. Mr. Alter also assists his clients in the areas of wrongful dismissal, all aspects of insurance claims, family law asset division, commercial litigation and wills and estates. Mr. Alter also practices in the area of commercial and residential real estate, mortgages and debt resolution.

Shivraj received his Bachelors of Commerce from McMaster University in 2015, LL.B. from University of Leicester in 2019, and Masters of Tax Law (LL.M. Tax) from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2020. As a results-driven lawyer specializing in Tax, Business, Corporate, and Commercial Law, he has demonstrated expertise in an array of matters, ranging from registering corporations to litigation, and case preparation with multi-level court appearances. His professional career is supported by proven business acumen, academic leadership, client advocacy within local communities, and experience in the legal field. He is skilled in valuation preparation and capital acquisitions, small business start-up and consulting, along with an advance understanding of personal and corporate accounting. In addition, he excels at conducting legal research and analysis on different facets of litigation and tax law, supporting his associates and clients.
